Khan Bahadur Chowdhury Kazemuddin Ahmed Siddiky, Zamindar of Baliadi, born 1876, (received a Royal charter from Warren Hastings to govern North Central part of East Bengal under the permanent settlement act of the British empire), Founding President of the East Bengal and Assam Provincial Muslim League when it was established at Dhaka in June 1908 with Khwaja Salimullah as its secretary. Member of the Jagannath College Governing Body, Member of the Muslim Deputation waiting on Lord Charles Hardinge to press home their demand to establish a University at Dhaka. In recognition of his public services the British Government conferred upon him the title of Khan Bahadur; married and had issue. He died 1937.

Justice Badruddin Ahmed Siddiky, educated at Galimpur, at Dhaka College (I.A., 1932), at Calcutta University and at Dhaka University (Law, 1937); former Chief Justice of the United Pakistan whofamouslyrefused togive oath to Tikkah Khan, as the Governor of East Pakistan, therebyaccelerating the movement for the independence of Bangladesh; he was also the permanent representative of the people of Bangladesh to the United Nations; he served as the last Chief Justice of East Pakistan, he joined the All India Muslim League in 1935; he joined the Calcutta High Court as an advocate in 1946 and was involved in the Commission on the Hindu-Muslim riots of Calcutta; Chairman of Pakistan Red Cross and Vice Chairman of I.C.R.C.; appointed Adviser to the President of Bangladesh with the rank and status of a Cabinet Minister. He died in December 1991.
