Although there are two situations when WhatsApp videos cannot be played, the received videos and the status video, the reasons for these issues are almost the same. Poor Internet connection is a common cause, and other reasons include a glitch in the system and issues with the app itself.

First of all, you should check your internet connection when the video is not playing in WhatsApp. If your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can resolve network issues by reconnecting, restarting your router, or switching to cellular data.

The second way to fix WhatsApp video not playing is to update the app to the latest version. You can go to the Play Store or App Store and search for WhatsApp to check for updates. If a version is available, just click the download button to install it.

I am working on whats-app status saver app, i don't understand how i can make it work on android 11. As storage all storage access got restricted and google rejected my update due to use of All files access (MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE) permission.

But i tested another app, which is working fine and even saving files at root directory too. This app ask for this permission Allow access to photo, media and filesand when i check permissions in app setting it says app has access to management of all files. Even app has all files permission never show me this screen to get full files access.

Luckily, the Android/media directory does not fall under this restriction so you can ask the user to pick the Android/media/com.whatsapp directory to access all WhatsApp media including images, videos and status.

WhatsApp offers several in-app editing features for media, and among them is the ability to send videos without sound. WhatsApp is the most popular instant messaging app in the world. Apart from messages, it lets users share images, videos, and documents. It also allows users to send disappearing messages, voice notes, location, and even payments in some countries. WhatsApp can be used on up to four devices at a time, making it a great all-purpose messaging app.

WhatsApp has a mute button for videos which lets users remove the sound of a video before sharing it. To send a WhatsApp video without sound, users will either need to record a video or select one from their gallery. On the screen that shows the length and size of the file, tap on the small speaker icon located in the top left corner of the display. Click on the send button, and the video shared to the recipient's phone will play without any sound. This method works on both Android and iOS devices. Before this feature was introduced, WhatsApp users had to rely on third-party video editing apps to mute their videos before sharing.

WhatsApp's mute video feature can be used in multiple scenarios. For example, users might find themselves in a noisy environment but want to send a video of their surroundings to their friends. Or, they might want to share a video of their child or pet, while muting a private conversation taking place in the background. The mute button might not be used frequently, but it's a useful feature to have in the app.

WhatsApp also allows users to mute videos when sharing them to their status. To do this, tap the 'Status' button on WhatsApp. At the top, select 'Add to my status' or tap the camera icon. This will open the phone's camera. Tap 'Video' to switch to the video camera. Alternatively, tap the gallery icon to select a video from the gallery. When the video is recorded or selected, the same mute button will appear in the top left corner. Tap the button to mute the video.

Users can also trim the length of the video by using the slider at the top, and edit it in other ways, such as by adding stickers or text. Add a caption at the bottom if required, and then tap the send button to upload it to the status. Users can modify who can see their status while uploading media by tapping 'Status' near the send button. Alternatively, they can open the WhatsApp Status tab and tap 'Privacy' on top to choose between different sharing options.

Taking a cue form Snapchat, WhatsApp Status lets you share updates that come in the form of GIFs, photos, videos and good old text. This awesome feature is available for both iPhone and Android users, and it even lets you choose which contacts to share with while disappearing after 24 hours.

Disappearing messages have become incredibly popular in recent years due to their obvious security and privacy benefits. More and more messaging services and apps are adding this feature, WhatsApp among them. To help bolster security, this feature will only work if you and the contacts you want share updates with have each other's phone numbers saved in your address books.

Though WhatsApp Status is available for both Android and iOS, there are very slight differences on how to post updates. So if you'd like to learn more about vanishing status updates on WhatsApp, check out this quick guide. 152ee80cbc
