Natalita Nursam received her B.Eng (2004) and M.Phil (2011) in Engineering from University of Indonesia in Depok-Indonesia and Australian National University in Canberra-Australia, respectively. She obtained her PhD in 2016 from the School of Chemistry, the University of Melbourne in Australia. During her PhD, she worked in a close collaboration with CSIRO Materials and Engineering on a project that focused on establishing a high-throughput screening system as a an efficient approach to accelerate the photocatalytic assessment process .
She is currently working as a research scientist at the Research Center for Electronics, National Research and Innovation Agency of Indonesia (Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional - BRIN). Her research interests include the development of porous semiconductor materials for energy and environmental applications. In particular, she is currently looking at the device fabrication technique and the industrial aspects of dye-sensitized and perovskite-based solar cells, and the integration of PV technology with other functional electronic devices.
