Nasser App Privacy Policy
Effective date: March 15, 2026
Nasser is developed by Mokhtar Bekaye. This Privacy Policy explains how the Nasser app handles user data.
Nasser is primarily an offline shop management application. Most data is stored and processed locally on the user’s device.
1. Data handled by the app
Nasser may store or process the following data locally on the device:
- shop information such as shop name, address, invoice settings, receipt QR text, and other shop customization settings;
- product and inventory information, including product names, categories, barcodes, quantities, buy prices, sell prices, and related stock records;
- business records entered by the user, including sales, purchases, expenses, reports, credits, supplier names, customer names, and similar shop-management data;
- local user and employee access data, including username, hashed PIN or login credential, approval status, admin status, assigned permissions, and session or login state;
- app settings and technical configuration stored on the device, including language, theme, printing settings, backup settings, and local network or server settings;
- exported or imported files chosen or created by the user, such as PDF files, CSV files, backup files, and similar business documents;
- a device-derived code used for device-linked license activation. This code is generated locally on the device and may be shown to the user for manual sharing with the seller in order to receive an activation serial.
2. How data is used
Nasser uses locally stored data only to provide app features, including:
- login and employee access management;
- inventory and stock management;
- sales, purchases, expenses, credits, and reports;
- invoice and receipt customization;
- local backup, restore, export, and import;
- device-linked license activation and verification;
- optional local network synchronization between the user’s own devices.
3. Data sharing and transmission
Nasser does not sell user data.
Nasser does not automatically upload locally stored shop data or account data to the developer’s remote servers.
If the user enables local network or server mode, selected business data such as products, stock, sales-related data, and certain account-related data may be transmitted between the user’s own devices over the local network for synchronization and shop operation purposes. This feature is optional and controlled by the user.
If the user manually exports, copies, shares, or transfers files, the exported data is handled according to the user’s own actions and chosen storage or sharing method.
If the user manually shares the device-derived activation code with the seller in order to obtain a license serial, that sharing is initiated by the user.
4. Camera access
If the user chooses to use barcode or QR scanning features, Nasser may use the device camera to scan barcodes or QR codes for product-related functions. The camera is not used for unrelated advertising or background surveillance purposes.
5. Files and storage
Nasser may read or write files when the user chooses to import data, export data, restore backups, create backups, or open generated documents. Exported files may remain on the device or selected storage location until the user deletes them manually.
6. Analytics, advertising, and health data
Nasser does not use advertising SDKs, analytics services, or crash-reporting services in the current app version.
Nasser does not provide health features and does not access, collect, use, or share health, fitness, medical, body-sensor, or Health Connect data.
7. Data retention
Data stored by Nasser is generally retained locally on the user’s device until one of the following happens:
- the user deletes the relevant records inside the app;
- the user clears the app’s storage from device settings;
- the user uninstalls the app;
- or the user manually deletes exported files or backups.
Some exported files or backups saved outside the app may remain in device storage until they are manually deleted by the user.
8. Account and data deletion
Because Nasser allows local user or employee account creation inside the app, users can request deletion of their Nasser account and associated account data outside the app by contacting:
bekaye33@gmail.com
Please include, if available:
- the username;
- the shop name;
- device or installation details.
Deleted data:
- local account data associated with the requested account;
- related local session or login data.
May remain:
- exported files or backups saved outside the app;
- data retained only for legal, security, technical, fraud-prevention, or user-requested backup reasons.
Users may also delete certain data directly inside the app where deletion options are available, or by clearing app storage or uninstalling the app. Exported files or backups saved outside the app may remain on the device or selected storage location until manually deleted by the user.
9. Security
Nasser stores most data locally on the user’s device. Reasonable steps are taken within the app design to reduce unauthorized access, including hashed storage of user PIN credentials, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
10. Children’s privacy
Nasser is not directed to children under 13.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version should be made available in the app and at the privacy policy URL provided in Google Play Console.
