Narendra Kurnia Putra, Ph.D.

Hi! I am Narendra Kurnia Putra,  an Assistant Professor at Instrumentation & Control Research Group, Faculty of Industrial Technology (FIT), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) , Indonesia.  I obtained my Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Robotics, Graduate School of Engineering, Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan . During my doctoral study, I worked at Biomedical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Institute of Fluid Science at the same university. I conducted my Ph.D. research on the topic of multiobjective optimization and design exploration of intravascular stent.

From August 2019, I work as faculty staff (Assistant Professor - since July 2021) at Engineering Physics Department, Faculty of Industrial Technology, ITB where I also work as researcher at Medical Instrumentation Laboratory, Instrumentation & Control Research Group under the same faculty.  My current research interests are mainly in the area of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation for biomedical systems especially hemodynamics, biofluid dynamics, medical instrumentation & measurements, and biomedical engineering in general.

I also playing a role as Academic Development Coordinator at FIT ITB as well as Engineering Physics International Track program coordinator at my department. I am curious about everything, like to cook something simple, and taking care of small plants. above all, I love to spend most of my time with my little family.
