Md Riad Al Rabbi Abir received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh, in 2022, and his M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Yeungnam University, Republic of Korea, in 2026. During his master's studies, he conducted research on MXene/perovskite hybrid materials for electrochemical energy storage under a project funded by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF). His work focused on the synthesis of perovskite-based composite electrodes and their electrochemical evaluation using cyclic voltammetry, galvanostatic charge–discharge, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and advanced capacitance analyses. He has also contributed to the development of asymmetric supercapacitor materials, resulting in publications in Journal of Energy Storage and Applied Surface Science. Prior to his graduate studies, he worked as an Assistant Process Engineer, where he gained experience in process simulation, process design, and oil and gas engineering. In September 2026, he join the NanoElectroChemistry Laboratory (NECL) at Daegu University as a Ph.D. student in Chemistry. His current research interests focus on electrocatalysis and advanced energy materials, particularly transition metal–based nanostructures for water splitting, nitrogen reduction, and sustainable electrochemical energy conversion.
