I. Graduate Student Recruitment As of January 2026, our research group is recruiting graduate students as follows. Both Korean and international applicants are eligible to apply. 1. Available Positions (1) Master’s Program
1 position (GKS / K-GKS applicants only)
(2) Doctoral Program
4 positions in total
1 position under the GKS / K-GKS program
3 position under the general (non-GKS) program, of which 2 positions are already confirmed and filled.
※ GKS (Global Korea Scholarship) refers to the Korean Government Scholarship Program for international students. ※ K-GKS is a region-linked variant (e.g., supported by Gyeongsangbuk-do) and operates under conditions nearly identical to those of GKS.
2. GKS Selection Schedule Final selection results will be announced in June 2026.
3. Program Duration and Structure (1) Master’s Program (Total: 3 years)
Korean language training: 1 year (from September 1, 2026)
Degree program: 2 years (expected admission on September 1, 2027)
(2) Doctoral Program (Total: 4 years)
Korean language training: 1 year (from September 1, 2026),
Degree program: 3 years (expected admission on September 1, 2027)
※ Applicants who hold TOPIK level 5 or higher are eligible for early admission starting September 1, 2026, without Korean language training.
4. Scholarship Benefits (GKS or K-GKS) Full financial support by the Korean government, including:
Full tuition coverage
Korean language training fees
Round-trip international airfare
Monthly stipend of 1,300,000 KRW
Additional benefits according to GKS regulations

At least 2 SCIE-indexed journal publications
Total Impact Factor (IF) ≥ 10
Minimum enrollment of 4 semesters
(2) Doctoral Program
At least 4 SCIE-indexed journal publications
Total Impact Factor (IF) ≥ 20
Minimum enrollment of 6 semesters

Postdoctoral Researcher
Number of positions: To be determined
Employment is tentatively expected to begin in the second half of 2026.
2. Eligibility Requirements (1) Applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements
PhD degree obtained within the last three years
Ability to independently design and conduct experiments
Applicants who do not personally conduct experiments will not be considered.
(2) Research performance within the last three years satisfying all of the following:
Total Impact Factor (IF) ≥ 25
At least two first-author or corresponding-author publications, excluding review papers
Ability to supervise and mentor undergraduate and graduate students
※ First author refers to the first-listed author, and corresponding author refers to the designated corresponding author.
