If you want open ear earbuds for motorcycle that keep your surroundings audible and offer all-day comfort without blocking wind noise, choose NANK Bone Conduction Headphones; if you need high-fidelity wired in-ear monitors for critical listening at home or on a train where total isolation is preferred, choose TANGZU FUDU Verse II.
These two devices occupy completely different corners of the audio market. One is designed for safety and movement, while the other is engineered for sonic purity and static appreciation. Choosing between them isn't about which is "better" in a vacuum; it is entirely about where you plan to use them and what your primary goal is when putting headphones on.
• NANK Bone Conduction Headphones: Its biggest strength is the open-ear design with Bluetooth 5.4 and IP68 waterproofing, perfect for active environments; its trade-off is that it cannot isolate sound from the outside world. This pick is for athletes, cyclists, and anyone needing situational awareness.
• TANGZU FUDU Verse II: Its biggest strength is the hybrid 3-driver setup (1 dynamic + 2 balanced armatures) and solid brass body delivering deep bass and detailed mids; its trade-off is the wired connection and lack of ambient sound monitoring. This pick is for audiophiles and commuters seeking immersive, high-resolution audio.
• The Verdict: You are choosing between a safety tool for motion (NANK) and a studio-quality instrument for stationary listening (TANGZU).
The NANK Runner4 is built around a philosophy of freedom and safety. It uses bone conduction technology, meaning it transmits sound through your cheekbones directly to your inner ear rather than plugging into your ear canal. This creates an open-ear experience that is crucial for anyone who needs to hear their environment while moving. The design features a premium titanium frame wrapped in skin-friendly silicone, ensuring the device stays secure during intense activity without causing pressure points behind the ears.
For the rider or runner, this is not just about listening to music; it is about survival. The open-ear shape allows ambient sounds like traffic, sirens, or approaching vehicles to pass through naturally. Combined with the Adaptive Noise Cancellation feature that automatically eliminates echoes and wind noise, the NANK unit manages to improve clarity outdoors without creating a barrier between you and the road. The Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity ensures a stable link up to 32 feet away, so your phone stays in your pocket or bag without signal drops.

This product is specifically tailored for the "open ear earbuds for motorcycle" crowd. If you ride a bike or drive a convertible, wearing traditional closed-back headphones can be dangerous because they block out the hum of the engine and the sound of other cars. The NANK allows you to enjoy your playlist while keeping your ears open to the world. Additionally, the IP68 rating means you do not have to worry about sweat, rain, or even submerging the device in water. Whether you are running in a downpour or swimming laps, the nano-waterproof coating protects the internal components.
However, you should skip this product if you expect total silence or high-end bass response typical of sealed earbuds. Because the sound bypasses the eardrum, there is no physical seal to create deep bass pressure. While the ResoVibe Technology and OT leakage reduction 3.0 help minimize sound loss to bystanders, the audio profile will always feel more airy and less "thumping" than a driver-based system. If your primary goal is to lose yourself in a quiet room with zero distractions, this open design will not meet your expectations.
The TANGZU FUDU Verse II represents a shift toward traditional HiFi aesthetics and acoustic performance. Unlike the wireless nature of the NANK, this is a wired in-ear monitor (IEM) designed for those who prioritize sound quality above all else. The build quality immediately sets it apart; it features a precision CNC-machined solid brass body finished in bronze, replacing the resin used in previous generations. This heavy, solid construction is not just for looks—it enhances sound resonance and provides a premium tactile feel that feels substantial in the hand.
At the heart of the Verse II is a sophisticated hybrid driver configuration. It combines a 10mm Titanium Diaphragm Dynamic Driver with two Balanced Armature drivers. The dynamic driver handles the low frequencies, providing thicker and more refined bass, while the separate armatures take care of the natural mids and crisp highs. This separation allows each frequency range to perform without interference, resulting in a soundstage that feels wide and detailed. The Q-IAO Crossover Technology further refines this by ensuring seamless integration between the three drivers, preventing any clashing or disjointed audio moments.
This device is ideal for the audiophile who wants to hear every nuance in a recording. The sensitivity of 114.5 dB ensures that even subtle details in complex tracks are audible. The included 0.78mm detachable Vortex OFC cable is made of high-quality oxygen-free copper, braided for durability and optimized for signal transmission. If you are a musician or a critical listener, the ability to swap cables or upgrade your source later makes this a long-term investment. The ergonomic oval shape and dense materials ensure a secure fit, making it suitable for extended listening sessions without fatigue.
You must avoid this product if you need wireless freedom or if you require situational awareness. Because these are in-ear monitors with a passive seal, they block out almost all external noise. This is excellent for focusing on music but dangerous for riding a motorcycle or jogging near traffic. Furthermore, the wired connection limits your mobility; you are tethered to your music source. If you are looking for "comfortable earphones for motorcycle" rides where you might need to take calls instantly or switch songs without fumbling with wires, the physical constraints of the TANGZU make it impractical for that specific use case.

After weighing the specs and the intended use cases, I would buy the NANK Bone Conduction Headphones if my primary context was getting around town on a bike. The safety aspect of hearing the environment while listening to music is too valuable to ignore, and the battery life ensures I won't run out of power mid-ride. In my opinion, the TANGZU FUDU Verse II is an incredible piece of engineering for a dedicated listening chair or a quiet commute, but it lacks the versatility required for active outdoor use. For the specific scenario of riding a motorcycle, the NANK is the only logical choice that balances audio enjoyment with personal safety.
Yes, the NANK Bone Conduction Headphones are explicitly designed for this, offering an open-ear fit that keeps you aware of traffic while playing music. The TANGZU model blocks outside noise and is wired, making it unsafe and impractical for riding.
Absolutely. The NANK features an IP68 waterproof rating and includes an MP3 mode for underwater use since Bluetooth signals do not work beneath the surface. The TANGZU is not waterproof and should never be exposed to water.
The TANGZU FUDU Verse II wins on pure audio fidelity due to its hybrid 3-driver system and brass body, providing detailed mids and deep bass. The NANK prioritizes sound clarity and wind noise reduction over deep bass response.
No, the NANK has 16GB of internal storage that acts like a USB stick, allowing you to copy MP3, FLAC, or WAV files directly from a computer to play without a phone.
