A CSR Initiative by Vedanta Group
The objective of this web page is to provide an interim, publicly accessible platform for locating Nand Ghar centers and enabling route mapping to specific Nand Ghar locations until their coordinates are officially verified and added to Google Map by Google Map's officials. By embedding a custom google map, this page ensures that anyone—community members, field teams, auditors, and stakeholders—can easily access, navigate, and utilize geotagged locations of Nand Ghars for improved outreach and operational efficiency.
Project Nand Ghar is a flagship CSR initiative by Vedanta Group, aimed at transforming traditional Anganwadis into modern, well-equipped centers for early childhood education, nutrition, healthcare, and women empowerment. The project operates in collaboration with the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, to uplift rural communities by enhancing infrastructure, learning resources, and healthcare services for children and women. Nand Ghars are solar-powered, digitally integrated centers equipped with Smart TVs, e-learning modules, nutritious meal programs, telemedicine facilities, and skill development programs for women. The initiative focuses on reducing malnutrition, promoting early childhood education, and ensuring maternal and child healthcare. Currently, over 7,500 Nand Ghars have been established across 16 states in India, impacting millions of children and women.
