Brief Bio

Nancy Kay Peterson’s poetry has appeared in the print publications ArtWord Quarterly, FMAM Futures Mysterious Anthology Magazine, Living With Nature, Loonfeather, Lost Lake Folk Opera, Mined, North Coast Review, Rag Mag, realgoodwords, Red Booth Review, River Images, Sidewalks, Texas Poetry Calendar, Trapeze, and The Wolf Head Quarterly, and online in A View from the Loft, Deep Breath, Jerseyworks, One Sentence Poems, Spank the Carp, Three Line Poetry and NorthWords. Two of her poems were nominated for The Pushcart Prize (2001 and 2002).

For five years, from 2004-2009, she co-edited and co-published the quarterly magazine Main Channel Voices: A Dam Fine Literary Magazine (Winona, MN). Her Backwaters column appeared at the end of each issue…just as the column Headwaters by co-publisher Carol Borzyskowski began each issue. Belated Remembrance, Nancy’s first chapbook, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2010.
