I am an associate professor at Nagoya University in Japan. My research is in discrete mathematics and theoretical computer science, particularly in graph theory, combinatorial optimization, and algorithms. Before coming to Nagoya University, I was a specially appointed assistant professor at Tohoku University and an assistant professor at Tokyo University of Science. I was also a postdoctoral researcher at the National Institute of Informatics in Japan and the University of Tokyo. I completed my PhD in March 2014 at Keio University. Before my PhD, I obtained my bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Tokyo.
