Namrata Dhaka's Seed Omics Lab

What we do

Welcome to our page! We are enthusiastic researchers involved in learning the intricacies of seed development by using omics methods. Currently, we are focusing on microRNA, long noncoding RNA, transcriptome, and proteome analyses in Brassica juncea and Sorghum bicolor to understand the regulation of several seed traits. Our goal is to identify good candidates for improvement of seed size and nutrient content in these crops, and eventually use these candidates for crop improvement.  We are currently based at the Central University of Haryana. Mahendergarh. Explore our website and our database (https://bij.cuh.ac.in/) to know more about our work, possible collaborations, and open positions.
