Namhyun Eun

Welcome! I am Namhyun Eun. Here is my CV.

I am currently a Research Fellow at the School of Mathematics, Korea Institute for Advanced Study (KIAS), mentored by Professor Joonhyun La. I received my Ph.D. in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at KAIST in Februrary 2026, under the supervision of Professor Moon-Jin Kang, to whom I am deeply grateful.

My research interests lie in partial differential equations (PDEs), especially hyperbolic conservation laws, fluid dynamics, and related models, to be specific, compressible Euler equations, Navier-Stokes equations, shock waves, well-posed problems, and singular limits (inviscid limits).
