Have you ever imagined how the neural circuits, which control our brain function such as thoughts, decision making, memory, and behavior, are constructed in your brain when you were a baby or child? Our group aims to understand the cellular/molecular mechanisms underlying the neural circuit formation in the mammalian cerebral cortex during embryonic and postnatal development.
