holds a recent Ph.D. in Public and Social Policy from Charles University, where he also received a master’s degree in 2019. He is an early-career researcher and policy analyst focusing on international development, civil society, and political regimes, with a background of more than a decade of practice and research in the South Caucasus region. Kamilsoy co-founded Agora Analytical Collective, a think tank analyzing social and economic policies in Azerbaijan since 2022. He has held visiting fellowships at the University of Zurich (2021) and Friedrich Schiller University Jena (2024). His current research theorizes policy-making processes in non-democratic contexts.
