I am Nahid Imtiaz Masuk. I am a Mechanical engineering undergrad student at Rajshahi University Of Engineering & Technology, one of the prestigious engineering institutions in Bangladesh. Currently, I am doing the third year of my graduation.

I am an enthusiastic researcher in Control systems, Automobiles, Robotics, and Renewable energy. I have made my first research work with my department teachers and seniors. My first research work got published when I was a second-year undergrad student in "Energy & Fuels" by the "American Chemical Society (ACS)" in which I was the leading author. The paper was about alternative fuels in IC engines. This gives me huge confidence in my research career. After that, I am engaged with several groups and trying to learn better ways to do more impactful research in robotics and renewable energy. Later, I worked on some Nuclear Renewable Hybrid Energy Systems(NRHES) with Mr. Arman Arefin who is an Erasmus Scholar in Safe and Reliable Nuclear application, and waste management with my university professor Monjur Mourshed who is a Ph.D. student in RMIT, Australia. Late, I got an offer to write a book chapter on "Hydrogen as an alternative fuel" from Mr. Towhidul Islam, who is a Master's student at Georgia Southern University, GA, USA,  which is published in Springer Nature.

After exploring some different sectors of research, I finally set up my interest in the Automobile side. As I began my research career in the automobile field and was involved in various forms of work for automobiles during my undergrad, Now I am working on Autonomous vehicle path prediction, and the feasibility of self-driving cars in case of lower economic countries. 

Besides I’m an experienced Marketing Coordinator during a startup called “Obosor” ( An online book shop). We won the "Bongobondhu Innovation Grant 2020" for undergrad startups by the ICT division of the government of Bangladesh.

I am serving my responsibilities as a Class Representative in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, RUET from the first semester till now.

I am also the Founder of an online photoblog called “Humans Of RUET”.
