About
I completed my schooling at S.K. Public School, T. Gollahalli, and SVREMHS, Chandapura, Bengaluru, followed by my Pre-University education (PCMB) at SRIS PU College, Malladihalli, Chitradurga. I pursued my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Botany, and Biochemistry at Sahyadri Science College, Kuvempu University, Shivamogga, where my interest in biological sciences gradually developed.
In 2022, I joined the School of Life Sciences, JSS Academy of Higher Education & Research (JSS AHER), Mysuru, for my M.Sc. in Biochemistry. During my master’s thesis at the Neurochemistry Department, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, I worked in Dr. Subashchandrabose Chinnathambi’s laboratory on Tau pathology in Alzheimer’s disease. This experience sparked my strong interest in neurodegenerative disorders and provided hands-on training in basic laboratory techniques, microscopy, and data analysis. Alongside experimental work, I contributed to book chapters and review articles, which significantly strengthened my scientific writing and critical thinking skills.
Following my master’s training, I joined Dr. Sorab N. Dalal’s laboratory at ACTREC–Tata Memorial Centre, Navi Mumbai, as a research trainee. The laboratory focuses on colorectal cancer biology, where I gained solid practical experience in molecular and cellular biology and began addressing fundamental questions related to cancer mechanisms.
I am an early-career researcher with a strong curiosity to understand biological systems at the molecular and cellular levels. My primary interest lies in imaging and advanced microscopy techniques to explore structural and functional aspects of biomolecules and cells. My long-term goal is to translate structural and imaging-based insights into biomarker discovery, diagnostic advancements, and therapeutic applications. I am actively seeking research opportunities that bridge fundamental structural understanding with meaningful biomedical relevance.
