About Me

Hi, I am Nafis Sadik Khan, currently working at the Marine and Coastal Geodesy Group at the University of Houston. My primary interest is understanding land deformation using various satellite and geodetic techniques, including InSAR and GNSS.

I have completed my B.Sc. in Water Resources Engineering (WRE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). In my undergrad thesis, I worked on riverbank migration analysis by using LANDSAT images where I calculated short-term and long-term erosion & accretion rates. I also identified vulnerable places due to erosion, confluence point movement, and river width changes in different years.

Thanks for visiting my site. Feel free to reach me for any kind of information.Â
