SARANG: The Festival of IndiaㆍNami Island
SARANG: The Festival of IndiaㆍNami Island is an Indian cultural exchange festival that has been developed in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Korea since 2015. The festival introduces both traditional and contemporary Indian culture through performances, exhibitions, and hands-on experience programs.
Showcasing a wide range of cultural and artistic content—including Indian music and dance, visual arts, traditional attire, and everyday cultural practices—the festival is created in close cooperation with Indian artists, cultural organizations, and India-related institutions, serving as a platform for cultural exchange between Korea and India.
Set within the natural landscape of Nami Island, the festival offers visitors an opportunity to experience Indian culture in an open and approachable way. Through cultural understanding and shared appreciation, it continues to expand the value of sustainable international exchange.
