Nachiketa Adhikari
I am a mathematics PhD student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), working in algebraic geometry. I expect to graduate in August 2024. My advisor is Sheldon Katz.

Research
My research is in (complex) enumerative geometry. I am currently thinking about moduli spaces of sheaves on Calabi-Yau manifolds and computations of motivic Donaldson-Thomas invariants. Relatedly, I am also interested in derived moduli problems and shifted symplectic structures.

Teaching
I have been a Teaching Assistant at UIUC for:
Math 220: Calculus,
Math 234: Calculus for Business,
Math 241: Calculus III and
Math 415: Applied Linear Algebra,
and have been on the List of Teachers Ranked Excellent by their Students seven times. I have also taught in the Merit program.
