June 20 5:30-7:00-- Dr. Ziegler Presents: A Deadly Drug Epidemic in Nassau County.

Dr. Ziegler will present on the current epidemic of opioid use and overdose deaths in Nassau County. Discussion will include: Strategies for prevention of inappropriate drug use; Drug abuse and overdose in Nassau County; and, Use of naloxone (Narcan) to reduce overdoses. July 20-22-- Enhanced Teen Driver Course

This course was designed by the Occupational Therapy Program at FSCJ for teen drivers with executive functioning issues, or someone who has had difficulty taking the driver's license test in the past. The three day program will give drivers classroom knowledge and hands-on experience with lessons like: road signs and traffic signs; mapping; defensive driving; basic car maintenance. Teen drivers will also have the opportunity to interact with local law enforcement to role-play various scenarios they may encounter on the road.

The class is limited to 15 students and drivers must pre-register by June 30. To pre-register, visit or call 904-277-3699. Drivers must be learner's permit eligible.
