I'm enjoying Realme UI overall but there's one thing I miss from the versions of Android I've used before(Oxygen OS & Pixel) - launching the camera with the screen off with a quick double press of the power button.

Featuring a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, up to 12GB of RAM and a 6.7-inch display with WQHD+ resolution, the Realme GT 2 Pro competes against the strongest competitors in the Premium segment. In the camera department, the Realme lacks a dedicated tele shooter but offers 50MP sensors in both the primary module and the ultra-wide. In addition, there is a macro camera for close-up photography.

When shooting still images the camera offers a fairly wide dynamic range and an average texture/noise trade-off across all light conditions. In terms of exposure or testers observed some variation across consecutive shots and the lack of zero-shutter-lag technology means that the Realme is not quite as quick to capture as some competitors. Tone compression is noticeable in quite a few image, as are fusion, ghosting and color quantization artifacts.

This graph shows edge acutance against shooting time measured on the AFHDR setup on a series of images. Images were captured 500ms after defocusing the target, at 1000 lux with the camera mounted on a tripod.

The GT 2 Pro does not come with a dedicated tele camera and uses digital zoom for tele images instead. As a result, zoom performance is fairly poor. Image resolution is low at all tele zoom settings, and there does not appear to be any HD processing, resulting in highlight and shadow clipping in challenging high-contrast scenes.

The primary camera relies on the 64MP OmniVision OV64B sensor with a Quad-Bayer filter. The sensor has 0.7m pixels, and after the 4-in-1 binning, you'd be getting a 16MP photo with 1.4m equivalent performance. This sensor sits behind a 25mm f/1.79 lens, it supports. A high-res 64MP mode, Pro Mode, as well as Night mode, is available for this camera.

The camera app has a familiar UI, with most modes placed on a rolodex. The viewfinder in the default Photo mode offers Chroma Boost - it's like an advanced HDR mode, which may stack several images to offer even further improvements in the dynamic range. Still, the most prominent "improvement" is the higher color saturation. Auto HDR is available, too.

The main camera saves 16MP by default, and these photos are good. The resolved detail is enough even if we've seen better on the Redmi Note bunch, and the noise is kept low. The contrast is excellent, and the dynamic range is wide enough but not over the top (Auto HDR was ON).

Note that during our review, the Realme C55 received a camera update, which improved the photo quality by toning down the processing, which was previously producing quite over-sharpened photos. The samples below are all taken after the update.

The 1080p footage from the rear camera is great - there is plenty of detail, great dynamic range and contrast, and saturated colors. There is a lot of sharpening applied, but it looks well on the phone's screen. Our biggest concern, however is that the audio is rather bad in the recordings, though.

My phone's front camera doesn't works , neither in main camera app or any third party app. Please help me solve this problem. I've even tried factory resetting my phone, but the problem is still there.

The focal length is a measure of how a lens converges light. It can be used to know the magnification factor of the lens and given the size of the sensor, calculate the angle of view. The native focal length of the sensor cannot be used for comparisons between different cameras unless they have the same size. Therefore, the focal length in 35 mm terms is a better reference.

Shows the magnification factor of this lens compared to the primary lens of the device (calculated by dividing the focal length of the current lens by the focal length of the primary lens). A magnification factor of 1 is shown for the primary camera, ultra-wide cameras have magnification factors less than 1, and telephoto cameras have magnification factors greater than 1.

It displays whether this lens can be set to focus at infinity or not. Even if the camera supports autofocus and manual focus, it might happen that the focus range the lens is able to adjust to does not include the infinity position. This property is important for astrophotography, as in such low-light scenarios the automatic focus does not work reliably.

The distance from which objects that are further away from the camera always appear in focus. Therefore, if the camera is set to focus at infinity, any object further away from this distance will appear in focus.

The range of supported manual exposure in seconds (minimum or shortest to maximum or longest). This camera might support exposures outside this range, but only in automatic mode and not in manual exposure mode. Also, note that this range is the one third-party apps have access to, as often the first-party app preinstalled on the phone by the manufacturer might have privileged access to the hardware and offer longer or shorter exposures times.

The range of supported manual sensitivity (ISO). This camera might support ISO sensitivities outside this range in automatic mode. Also, note that this range is the one third-party apps have access to, as often the first-party app preinstalled on the phone by the manufacturer might have privileged access to the hardware and offer an extended manual sensitivity range.

The five-finger pinch and the horizontal swipe are among the contactless gestures that users can perform to control the new Realme phone, which improves on prior attempts to integrate hand ID technology into mobile devices by using its 32-megapixel selfie camera as a biometric palm print scanner.

In 2019, LG debuted the G8 ThinQ, which used a time-of-flight camera and infrared sensors for 3D face and palm vein biometrics. The ThinQ smart home platform still exists, but LG officially stopped making phones in 2021.

Realme 11 Pro, along with the Realme 11 Pro+, has been launched in India today during The Next Leap event. The new Realme series is highlighted by its 200MP camera that is on the Realme 11 Pro+ and its unique circular camera module design. Not just that, ahead of the launch, the Realme 11 Pro series was being promoted by Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The hype around the pphone was high and we take a look at whether that was justified. So, what does the Realme 11 Pro series have to offer? Know all here, from price, availability, specs to features.

Realme 11 Pro 5G is now available on sale in India at a starting price of Rs 23,999. The highlights of the smartphone include a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 5000 mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging, a 100 MP triple rear camera setup and 12GB RAM. Certification is important because we want users to have a good experiencewith your AR application. This is primarily related to sensitive motiontracking, which is done by combining the camera image and the motion sensorinput to determine how the user's device moves through the real world.

To certify each device, we check the quality of the camera, motion sensors, andthe design architecture to ensure it performs as expected. Also, the deviceneeds to have a powerful enough CPU that integrates with the hardware design toensure good performance and effective real-time calculations.

In that way, those developers perform a few modifications so that the other android users can also utilize those incredible attributes and take the camera quality to the next level without any hassle.

Even their latest creation, such as Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, got only the standard lenses in the camera island. But even then, they were able to provide overwhelmingly good details with apt contrast and vibrant colors.

Yes, the camera app crashes in some Realme phones if you have not disabled the motion photos from the settings, while in some cases, depending on the hardware, the processing fails and crashes the app. Lastly, the Gcam may not be compatible with your Realme Pad 2 phone so look for a better option.

Depending on the Google camera version either the app has a forced Astrophotography in the night sight, aka night mode, or you will find this feature in the GCam settings menu on the Realme Pad 2. Make sure to hold your phone still or use a tripod to avoid any moments. ff782bc1db
