Research Fields

·    Agricultural Micro- and Nanotechnology: Combining the agriculture engineering principles and techniques with the innovative micro- and nanotechnologies, agricultural micro- and nanotechnologies provide new solutions in local, national and global challenges of agriculture fields.

·     Nanoengineered Materials: Development of nanoengineered materials (e.g., carbon-based nanomaterials, biocompatible nanoparticles, and lithography-based substrates) and Applications of these materials for agricultural and biomedical fields.  

·       Biomaterials and Biofabrication: Designing and manipulating innovative multifunctional engineering devices using biomaterials in combination with micro- and nanotechnology. Especially, the engineered agricultural by-products were usually used as new biomaterials.
