Audience, Prerequisites & Expected Outcomes
The workshop is open to both students and professionals who are at beginners or intermediate level in Data Science. Along with Data Analysts, Statisticians and Machine Learning Engineers will benefit from this workshop.
The participants with no experience in Python Programming can email at (naamiiworkshops[at]gmail.com) so that we can provide resources to learn Python Programming prior to the workshop.
The workshops are being taught by academia and industry experts experienced in teaching such courses to diverse audience. The courses are carefully designed considering our audience from the perspective of educational psychology and instructional design.
The expected outcomes are: participants will receive both conceptual understanding and hands-on training on EDA and Visualization. The participants will learn how to collect, clean, transform, summarize, analyze and visualize data using Python libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn. They will learn art and intuition, and tools and techniques to explore and visualize data so that they can understand, use and model the data.
The project-based learning will allow the participants to use their knowledge in open-ended problems and build deeper understanding. Our goal is to create a supportive learning environment promoting engaged interactions, critical thinking and creative problem solving.
We will also provide learning material packages with reference materials and exercise sets so that the participants can continue their learning after the workshop as well.
