North end tour will include time for lunch (on your own) before business starts at 1pm at the resort

Two tour options to choose from

Lynden Door – https://www.lyndendoor.com/ (limited to 25 people)

  • Local door manufacturer that builds thousands of doors each door that are distributed across the Western United States. You will see the entire process from milling of the wood to assembly. Also will be the robots used to manufacture doors and move material throughout the production line.


Technic Training Center – on the Lynden Door Campus - https://www.technictrainingcenter.org/

    • Technic Training Center is a non-profit organization in Lynden, WA that helps local high school students develop skills for future careers while exploring woodworking, modern manufacturing, and business. Lynden High School has students attend the school during the regular school day. Students are using CNC machines, edge banders, and other high end industry standard tools to learn the manufacturing foundations to become employed after graduation.


Dairy Technology Tour

  • Edaleen Dairy- tour of the digesters from Regenis (division of Andgar),

  • Robotics on the dairy (DeLaval)

  • Twin Brook Creamery tour with Larry Stap to check out their milk processing.

Thursday (4/28) Tour Information

South end tour- grab your lunch and eat on the way

Carpool recommended, today will be some driving!

depart Semiahmoo approx 12:30pm, travel to Smith Gardens Trial Gardens 6410 132nd St NE, Marysville, WA 98271 for a 60 min tour (2-3pm)

When you arrive take a right into the parking lot (it is a one way) then park anywhere. We can gather in front of the office.


Safety reminders:

    • We are in our peak season and there are a lot of moving vehicles for safety reasons we need to stay together & mindful of vehicles in the area. Move to the side when we see them coming through.

    • No opened toed shoes

    • Wear layers we will be in and out of greenhouses, but still chilly outside

Depart Smith Gardens and travel to Roozengaard to Stop and Smell the Flowers! from approx 4-6

depart Roozengard approx 6pm and travel to dinner at Skagit River Brewery, 404 S 3rd St, Mount Vernon, WA 98273

Dinner Cruise- Monday Night

Join us for a 2 hour dinner cruise on The Salish Sea

The cruise will depart from the dock located at 355 Harris Avenue, Bellingham, WA 98225.

There is a large parking lot here at the facility that folks can park in and also free parking on the street outside of the facility.

They recommend your guests arrive around 5:30 pm and boarding will begin at 5:45 pm for a 6pm departure.
