Dashboard: Unicord Company Profiles

• The single Slicer visual, titled "Select Company" , contains all the company names reported in the dataset. Report user should be able to select a single company name from this slicer, which ultimately filters some of the visuals in this dashboard.

• Based on the selected company of "Select Company" slicer, there are total 5 Card visuals which will automatically change. Those card visuals are introduced below:

  • • • Country: This card shows the country name from which the selected company originated from.

      • Year Founded: This card shows the founding year of the selected company.

      • Company Age (in Years): This card shows the age of the company in years (till date).

      • Industry: This card shows the type of the selected company, i.e., which sector is the company functioning.

      • Key Investors: This card shows the company names who hold the preferred shares of the selected company.

The other visuals in this dashboard which do not follow the filter context of the "Select Company" slicer are briefly descripted below:

• The Pie Chart, titled "Number of Companies by Age", shows the comparison of companies in parcentages on the basis of their ages in years. This visual shows that almost half unicorn companies in this dataset falls between the age range of 6 to 10 years (49.81%), where least unicorn companies aged above 15 years (11.08%).

• The Funnel Chart, titled "Top 4 Countries Having Highest Unicorn Companies", lists the top 4 coutries in this world (China, India, US, UK) who have the highest amount of unicord companies (mentioned in the dataset). From this visual, it is obseved that US produced the most amount of unicorn companies (562) which is even bigger number than the rest 3 countries (India, UK, and China) produced.

• The Clustered Column Chart, titled "Company Funding Raises from Every Continent (in Billions)", displays the funding amount in Billions raised by the companies from different continents in the world. This visual surprisingly shows that companies from North America raised the highest fundings ($195K billions), and this value is even larger than the combined funding values from the other continents.

• The single Map visual in this dashboard, titled "Company Valuation by Countries", shows the geographical positions of all the company headquarters listed in the "Unicorn_Companies"  table in world map.  The bubble size of this visual varies based on the valuations of the respective companies. Report user should be able to see the Country, Company Valuation (in Billions), Company Name, Headquarter, and Total Fund Raised (in Billions) of the corresponding company while putting the cursor on the bubble position.
