Project Questions

From the above mentioned dataset, following questions need to be answered by building a dashboard:

• Task-01: Total Quantity Shipped.

• Task-02: Total value of shipped product.

• Task-03: Top five customers by shipped quantity.

• Task-04: Top five products by shipped quantity.

• Task-05: Shipped quantity by year.

• Task-06: Total value by type.

• Task-07: Total value by channel.

• Task-08: Add 3 filter on the top of the dashboard (Date filter, Product description filter, product code filter).

Completed Tasks

A dashboar titled "Project Tasks"was built to answer all the tasks mentioned above. A point-to-point description of this dashboard is provided below:

• Task-01 Solution: A Card visual, titled "Total Quantity Shipped", shows the total number of shipped product mentioned in the dataset.

• Task-02 Solution: A Card visual, titled "Total Quantity Shipped", shows the total value (in rupees) of shipped products mentioned in the dataset.

• Task-03 Solution: A Clustered Column Chart, titled "Top 5 Customers by Shipped Quantity", shows the top 5 customers in the dataset who recieved the highest quantity of products among all the customers. The quantity values are pointed above the bars representing the 5 customers.

• Task-04 Solution: A Stacked Bar Chart, titled "Top 5 Products by Shipped Quantity", shows the top 5 products in the dataset which were shipped in the highest quantity among all the products. The quantity values are pointed beside the bars representing all 5 products.

• Task-05 Solution: A Treemap visual, titled "Total Shipped Quantity by Year", shows different boxes representing different years based on the shipped product quatities. There are total 5 years (from 2018 to 2022) recored in the dataset. In this visual, the size of year boxes varies based on the quantity amounts of shipped products. In every box, both year and shipped quantity are mentioned.

• Task-06 Solution: A Pie Chart, titled "Total Value by Type", shows the values in rupees for 2 product types (Dry & Frozen) mentioned in the dataset. In this visual, both price and parcentage are mentioned for each product type.

• Task-07 Solution: A Donut Chart, titled "Total Value by Channel", shows the values in rupees for 2 product channels (Ethnic & Mainstream) mentioned in the dataset. In this visual, both price and parcentage are mentioned for each product channel.

• Task-08 Solution: There are 3 Slicer visuals is this dashboard who represent 3 different filters. These visuals are briefly introduced below:

  • • 1. Date Filter: This slicer contains all the invoice dates mentioned in the dataset table.

      2. Product Description Filter: This slicer contains each and every product description mentioned in the dataset table.

      3. Product Code Filter: This slicer contains all the product codes mentioned in the dataset table.
