How to use Iron Condors/Butterflies, or Butterflies for earnings & special events (anticipated news/ event/ announcement)

Companies announce earnings every quarter on a pre-defined date. Such an event can be used to potentially benefit if we know how to exploit this and increase our odds of winning. Also other such pre-defined events can be utilized to our benefit.
In this session we shall discuss following:
What qualifies as a special event and/or catalyst?
How to trade the event when we have conviction of direction?
How to trade the event when we do not have conviction of the direction?
Examples of trades
Prerequisite:
Basic option knowledge of buying & selling CALL/ PUT options, understanding option greeks
Knowledge of option trading, Management of option pairs
