Should I Vote by Mail or In Person?
Kansas has both accessible absentee/vote-by-mail and early voting. The largest barrier to absentee/VBM will be mailing in a request form if this is your first time voting in this way. The largest barrier to early voting will be include travel time and meeting the strict voter ID requirement. Either option is a good one for most Kansas voters.
To avoid possible postal delays impacting your vote, we recommend mailing your completed ballot back by Tuesday, October 13th. Plan to drop it off by hand after that.
