Who says style has to cost the earth? Swap Not Shop encourages everyone to swap old clothes for free food or trendy new pieces. By doing so, we'we're hitting key Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 13: Climate Action) while protecting marine life, cutting down waste, and fighting fast fashion's impact on the planet.
This isn't just your average clothes swap — it’s a vibe. Students of INTEC Education College get to revamp their wardrobes without spending a single ringgit, while keeping up with the ever-changing whirl of fashion trends. Thanks to amazing sponsors like ICAHFA and Muiz Hot Chicken, the event even came with some delicious perks (yes, you could literally swap a shirt for a meal!). Talk about style that feeds both your closet and your tummy.
The best part? Students walked away with quality items they actually love, at no financial cost. It's proof that sustainable living doesn't have to be boring —it can be fun, stylish, and downright rewarding. Swap Not Shop wasn't just about swapping clothes; it was about swapping mindsets. And if this event is anything to go by, the future of fashion might just look a whole lot brighter.
