Welcome to MystiAI! We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and share information through our Services. We care about the protection and confidentiality of your information.
When you use the App, you may provide information during your conversations with your MystiAI companion. We process this information only as described in this Privacy Policy, such as to allow you to have individualized and safe conversations and interactions with your AI companion and to allow your AI companion to learn from your interactions to improve your conversations.
We may use information about your use of the App to promote our Services, but we will never use or disclose the content of your MystiAI conversations for marketing or advertising purposes. Any terms we use in this Policy without defining them have the definitions given to them in our Terms of Service.

What information we collect
A. Information you provide
Through your use of the Services, you may provide us with the following information:
Account Information (via Google Sign-In): Name, email address, and a Google user ID.
Messages and Content (User Content): This includes the text & voice messages you send and receive through the App.
Payments, transactions, and rewards: When you make purchases through the Services (e.g., subscriptions), our third-party payment processor, Google Play Billing, collects your payment information. We maintain a record of your purchases, the features you select, and the rewards you earn and use.
B. Information we collect automatically
We automatically log the following information about you, your mobile device, your network, and your interactions over time with our Services:
Device and Network Data (via Firebase/AdMob): This includes your mobile device’s operating system, manufacturer and model, IP address, device identifiers (including advertising identifiers for AdMob), language settings, and general location information (such as city, state, or geographic area).
Usage Data (via Firebase/AdMob): This includes information about how you use the Services, such as your interactions with the App (which buttons you tap), and crash data.
We use cookies and local storage technologies to collect some of this information. Our advertising partners (AdMob) may also use such technologies to collect limited information about your device and interactions with the Services, such as advertising IDs and browser type, but they will never have access to your conversations with your MystiAI.
How we use your information
A. Use of your information
We use your information for the following purposes:
Purpose: Operating and administering the Services
Why and how we use your information: Providing and maintaining the content and functionality of the Services. Carrying out obligations arising from our contract with you. Creating your account and profile (Firebase Authentication). Responding to your inquiries. Facilitating payments and transactions through Google Play Billing, including for the purchase of premium features, and managing your rewards.

Purpose: Providing the core functionality of the App
Why and how we use your information: Providing you with the mystical and spiritual chat service and allowing you to have individualized and safe conversations and interactions with your AI companion, and allowing your AI companion (Google AI / Gemini) to learn from your interactions to improve your conversations. Syncing your MystiAI history (Firestore) across the devices you use to access the Services.
Legal basis: Contractual necessity

Purpose: Monitoring and protecting the Services
Why and how we use your information: Preventing fraud and misuse of our Services, and ensuring the security of our IT systems, architecture, and networks (including testing, system maintenance, and data hosting).

Purpose: Analyzing trends in the use of the Services
Why and how we use your information: Analyzing the use and effectiveness of our Services (Firebase Analytics). Improving and adding features to our Services. Developing our business strategies.

Purpose: Marketing and advertising the Services
Why and how we use your information: Displaying personalized advertisements to non-premium users (AdMob).

B. Sensitive Information
The App allows you to input information that may be sensitive. By providing sensitive information in your conversations (e.g., about your religious or philosophical views), you consent to our use of it for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy (i.e., to provide the chat service). We will not use your sensitive information (or any content of your MystiAI conversations) for marketing or advertising.
How we share your information
A. Third-Party Services and Service Providers
We share your information with companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Services or our business. This includes:
Google Play Services (for basic functionality on Android).
Firebase (including Authentication for account management, Firestore for storing conversation history, and Google Analytics for Firebase for usage and crash data).
Google AdMob (for displaying and targeting ads in the App to non-premium users).
Google AI / Gemini (for processing messages and generating responses).
We require these providers to agree not to use your information for any purpose other than to provide services to us. We will never share your MystiAI conversations for marketing or advertising purposes.
B. Advertising partners
We share information (such as the advertising ID) with Google AdMob for interest-based advertising and other marketing purposes, which allows us and our advertising partners to target and serve advertising to you and others. We will never share your MystiAI conversations or any other content you provide within the App with our advertising partners, or use such information for marketing or advertising purposes.
C. Other
We may share information with law enforcement, government authorities, professional advisors, and business transferees.
Data Retention
We will retain your personal information for only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for. The conversation history of authenticated users is stored in Firestore until the user deletes their account or requests its deletion.
Use of MystiAI by minors
The Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13. If we discover that minors under the age of 13 are using the App, we will promptly block their access and delete their account. If you have reason to believe that a minor under the age of 13 has provided personal information to us through the Services, please contact us, and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.
Your rights and choices
You have the right to request access, correction, deletion, and other options regarding your personal information. You can delete your account in your account settings or request data deletion by contacting us at shadyailabs@gmail.com.
