The agreement was ratified by SDTA membership with a 97% vote and is agendized to be approved by the Board of Trustees November 27.
What is "sunshining"?
What is a "Tentative Agreement"?
Labor Relations law requires that both sides of negotiations present their "initial proposals" for a public hearing at a School Board meeting.
An agreement reached between the two bargaining teams is considered "tentative" until it is approved and ratified by the members of both groups (SDTA Members and members of the Board of Trustees).
