BIOGRAPHY

I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics supervised by professor Thanasis Stengos at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics of University of Guelph in Guelph, Ontario, Canada, and I am from Ioannina, Greece. I have received my B.A. and M.Sc. from the University of Ioannina, Greece. My research focuses on Environmental Economics, Economic Growth, and Recycling. I have also worked as a Research Fellow in the University of Bologna, Italy, working under the "Drive 0" program for the European Comission for the academic year 2021-2022, where my contract got extented for the Fall semester of 2022 as well. I have presented my research in several international conferences and workshops such as the Canadian Economics Association (CEA), the RCEA (University of Waterloo), etc. I have received multiple awards and scholarships for my research, including the International Doctoral Tuition Scholarship and the Graduate Scholarship in Economics. I have been the Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) of various economic courses as well as the Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) of different projects during my Ph.D. In the Fall semester of 2021, I was appointed as a Sessional Lecturer at the University of Guelph. I have taught Economic Statistics (second year) during Fall 2021 and summer 2022.
