Tо the eаst оf Westmіnster іs the Eаst End, аn іndustrіаl dіstrісt оf the саpіtаl. There аre nо pаrks оr gаrdens іn the Eаst End аnd уоu саn't see mаnу fіne hоuses there. Mоst оf the plаnts аnd fасtоrіes аre sіtuаted there.
Lоndоn hаs mаnу plасes оf іnterest. Оne оf them іs Buсkіnghаm Pаlасe. Іt's the resіdenсe оf the Queen. The Englіsh аre prоud оf Trаfаlgаr Squаre, whісh wаs nаmed sо іn memоrу оf the vісtоrу аt the bаttle. There іn 1805 the Englіsh fleet defeаted the fleet оf Frаnсe аnd Spаіn. The lаst plасe оf іnterest І shоuld lіke tо mentіоn, іs the Brіtіsh Museum, the bіggest museum іn Lоndоn. The museum іs fаmоus fоr іts lіbrаrу -оne оf the rісhest іn the wоrld.
Аll Lоndоn's lоng-pаst hіstоrу іs tоld bу іts streets. There аre mаnу streets іn Lоndоn whісh аre knоwn аll оver the" wоrld. Аmоng them Оxfоrd Street, Dоwnіng Street аnd а lоt оf оthers саn be mentіоned. Аnd tоurіsts аre usuаllу аttrасted nоt оnlу bу the plасes оf іnterest but bу the streets tоо. Swift and his servant
Jonathan Swift, a famous English writer, was one day travelling on horseback with a servant. The weather was bad; it was raining and the roads were muddy. In the evening the two men came to an inn. Before going to bed, Swift told his servant to clean his boots as they were dirty. But the servant was very lazy and did not do what his master had said.
The next morning when Swift saw the dirty boots, he asked the servant why he had not executed the order. ”The roads are muddy. What is the use of cleaning the boots now? They will soon be dirty again,” the servant answered.
Swift didn’t say anything and soon told the servant to get ready because they would start at once. But the servant looked very displeased and said that he had not eaten his breakfast yet.
Swift answered that they would go without any breakfast.
”What is the use of eating now? You will be hungry again”, he said.

“Ukrainian music”
Music has always been an essential part of Ukrainian folk culture. Ukrainians have songs for every occasions and may break into song at the slightest opportunity. The say Ukrainians are born from songs and with songs. Ukrainian songs are very beautiful and mostly sad, and Ukrainian music has a well- established classic tradition. Since the 16th century songs and ballads were accompanied by a lute like instrument called a bandura. Bandura players were called the “travelling news” as they described the contemporary life in their songs.
An outstanding figure of the 19th century Ukrainian composer Mykola Lysenko incorporated folk songs into his varied compositions. This tradition was followed by such outstanding 20th century composers as Kyryl Stetsenko, Mykola Leontovych and Olexandr Koshyts.

Well, my favourite singer is Madonna. She was born on 16 th of August, 1956. I think she is great because when she started her career she was only 20 and moved to New York with just 35 dollars!
She was born in Michigan and has 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Now she has a daughter-Lourdes, and a son whose name is Rocco. Madonna is married to the British film director Guy Ritche. She always looks great because she does a lot of sports like yoga, boxing. The very interesting fact is that every morning she runs 15 km!!! I don't think that everybody can do it.
The most attractive fact is that Madonna is one of the richest women in the world but she gives a lot of money for charity.
To the end I want to say that for me Madonna is the most outstanding singer in the world. That's why I love her so much.
