HisabNote (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use the HisabNote mobile application (“App”).
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
HisabNote is a personal utility application that allows users to manage finances, create notes, use basic tools such as a calculator and BMI calculator, and set reminders.
The App does not connect to banks, financial institutions, or payment systems.
All financial information is manually entered and controlled by the user.
A. Account Information When you create an account, we may collect:
Email address
Firebase-generated User ID
Name
We also support Google Sign-In. When you use this option, your Google account information is used only for authentication purposes. This information is used only for authentication and account management.
B. User-Entered Financial Information Users may manually enter financial data such as:
Income records
Expense records
Cash balances
Personal financial notes
All data is entered manually by the user and is used only for personal tracking within the App. The App does not access, connect to, or retrieve data from any financial institutions or payment services.
This information is stored only to provide the core functionality of the App.
C. Automatically Collected Information
We use Google Firebase services, including:
Firebase Authentication
Firebase Analytics
Crash reporting and related diagnostic services
These services may automatically collect limited technical information such as:
Device model
Operating system version
App version
Approximate country (based on IP address)
App usage statistics
Crash and diagnostic information
This information helps us improve app performance, fix technical issues, and enhance the user experience.
Analytics data is collected in an aggregated and anonymized form and is not used to identify individual users.
The App requests the following limited permissions to function correctly:
INTERNET: Required for Firebase cloud backup and authentication.
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: To ensure data syncs when the device is online.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To deliver user-created reminders (Android 13+).
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To restore user-scheduled reminders after a device restart. These notifications are delivered as standard local reminders.
The App does not request access to contacts, location, camera, or other sensitive personal data.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
Provide secure account authentication
Store and display user-entered financial records
Calculate balances and summaries within the App
Provide reminder notifications created and scheduled by the user
The App may send local notifications/reminders created by the user. These notifications are generated locally on the device.
Monitor performance and fix technical issues
Improve the App’s functionality, security, and stability
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties.
4. User Control
Users have full control over their data within the App.
They can:
Add, edit, or delete their financial records at any time
Manage notes and reminders
Request account deletion from within the App
5. Data Storage
User data may be stored in the following ways:
User-entered financial data is stored both locally on the user’s device and securely in cloud storage using Google Firebase.
Local Storage: ensures fast access and smooth app functionality.
Cloud Storage: is used to securely back up user data so that it can be restored if the user reinstalls the App or logs in from another device.
We do not use this data for any purpose other than providing core app functionality.
6. Data Sharing
We may share limited information only with trusted service providers required to operate the App, including:
Google Firebase (Authentication, Analytics, and related cloud services)
We may also disclose information if required by law or legal process.
We do not share user financial records for advertising purposes.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical safeguards to protect user data, including:
Secure authentication via Firebase
Encrypted data transmission
Controlled system access
However, no digital system can guarantee absolute security.
HisabNote provides a clear and transparent way for users to manage and delete their accounts.
How to Request Deletion: Users can initiate an account deletion request directly within the App (Go to Settings/ Profile > Delete Account). Additionally, if you want immediate permanent deletion or cannot access the App, you may request it by emailing us at: support.skillshikkha@gmail.com.
The 90-Day Grace Period: Once a deletion request is submitted:
Your account will be marked for scheduled deletion.
A 90-day grace period begins from the date of the request.
During this 90-day period, your data remains stored securely but is considered "pending deletion."
Restoration: If you log back into your account at any time during these 90 days, the deletion request will be automatically canceled, and your account will remain active.
Permanent Data Removal: If no login occurs within the 90-day period, the account and all associated personal data (including financial records, notes, and profile information) will be permanently deleted from our Firebase cloud storage and internal systems.
Important Notes:
Once the permanent deletion is processed after 90 days, your data cannot be recovered.
We do not retain any of your personal financial records after the permanent deletion is completed.
Some non-identifiable, anonymized technical logs (e.g., crash reports) may be retained briefly for service improvement purposes, but these cannot be linked back to you.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If such information is discovered, it will be removed as soon as possible.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Any updates will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of this page.
