The church is slightly more than 100 years old, built as a shrine to the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Bogucice.

The very last stop of the day next to the already closed basilica of St Stephen in a lively center of the Bogucice district of the Katowice megapolis. The functioning hospital indicates practical Christian love in action.
