The basilica is part of the former cistercian monastery in Rudy in Silesia.

The place reminded me of the monastery in the town where I live, a little bit secluded from the busy life of the city, yet the living center of the local community. The care for the place was visible, it was tidy and beautifully decorated with flowers.
