The old Premonstratensien monastery founded in 1153 as a daughter of Zeliv abbey. A living monastery and a rich cultural center nowadays.
"He is not a true son of the Most Holy Mother of God who does not serve her with his whole heart.”
- St Norbert
I visited it twice in the same year. First, alone on my way through the north of Austria, and then with my family a few weeks later. It is obviously a place that is well looked after and a spiritual, cultural, economic and touristic centre of the whole region. I was especially surprised by its close connection to the Czech Premonstratensian monasteries.
