The Velvet Rope Tour 1998

Janet's third concert tour, consisted of 6 legs, and ran from: 6th April 1998 to 30th January 1999, consisting of 125 shows.

Leg 1: Europe starting in Rotterdam in The Netherlands on 16th April, taking in Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Norway, Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, U.K. and Belgium and ending on 17th June in London. 

Janet also played a private concert in Brunei during this leg.

Leg 2: North America starting in Washington on 9th July, taking in Canada and ending on 31st October in The Woodlands. 

Leg 3: South Africa starting in Cape Town on 14th November and ending on 21st November in Johannesburg.

Leg 4: Oceania, starting in Christchurch in New Zealand on 27th November and ending on 20th December in Adelaide in Australia.

Leg 5: Japan starting in Tokyo 12th January 1999 and ending on 26 January, also in Tokyo. 

Leg 6: North America one concert in Honolulu on 30th January.
