# MyEx — Terms of Use (Terms of Service / EULA)

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the MyEx mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

## 1. Description of the service
MyEx is a mobile app designed to accompany you through the emotional recovery process after a breakup. Its features include:
- A relationship/situation analysis and a 30‑day support plan based on the information you provide
- Daily motivational and advice content
- A weekly relationship report and short daily content ("stories")
- An AI‑powered chat companion (Afrodit / Zeus)
- An "Emergency Moments" flow (breathing exercise and an AI support message)
- Progress tracking and a no‑contact day counter
- Optional astrological (zodiac) readings
A significant part of the content is generated by AI, based on the data you enter.

## 2. This is NOT therapy or professional advice
**MyEx does not provide and is not a substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric, medical, legal, or financial advice.**
- All content in the App — including AI‑generated content — is for general information and emotional support only.
- Terms such as "breakup coach" or "companion" are not a professional title or a claim of licensed expertise.
- In case of serious emotional distress, depression, thoughts of self‑harm, or a crisis, **seek a mental health professional immediately**, or in Türkiye call the support line **182**. If there is an immediate danger, call **112** (or your local emergency number).
- You are responsible for any actions you take based on content in the App.

## 3. No outcome guarantee
MyEx **does not guarantee any relationship outcome**. The App does not promise that you will "get your ex back," "reconcile," or change another person's behavior. Analyses, probabilities, and predictions are interpretations based on personal data; they are not certain. Astrological (zodiac) content is **for entertainment and personalization only** and is not a scientific prediction.

## 4. Eligibility and age
You must be **at least 18 years old** to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you are 18 or older.

## 5. Subscriptions and payments
Some features of MyEx require a paid subscription ("Premium").
- **Plans:** Weekly (₺299.99 / week) and Yearly (₺999.99 / year). Current prices are shown in the App and on the App Store and may vary by region.
- **Auto‑renewal:** The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period.
- **Billing:** Unless you cancel, payment is charged to your Apple ID account at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- **Management and cancellation:** You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via **App Store > Apple ID > Subscriptions**. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; no partial refund is given for a period already started.
- **Refunds:** All payments and refunds are handled by Apple, under Apple's terms. No payment is collected through us.
- **Free trial (if offered):** If a trial is offered and you do not cancel during the trial period, it converts to a paid subscription; any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, except where prohibited by law.

## 6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Reverse‑engineer, decompile, copy, modify, or create derivative works from the App's source code
- Use the AI companion to harass, threaten, or generate harmful or unlawful content
- Attempt to bypass the App's security measures or disrupt the service
- Enter information about another real person in a way that violates that person's reasonable expectations

## 7. User content
The text and information you enter into the App (e.g., your chat messages, situation descriptions) belong to you. How this data is processed is explained in the Privacy Policy. By entering content into the App, you grant us permission to use that content to provide the service to you (including AI processing).

## 8. Intellectual property
The App itself, its design, logo, text, AI prompts, and the templated content they produce belong to [company / publisher name] or its licensors. You are granted only a personal, non‑transferable, non‑exclusive right to use the App, valid for as long as you comply with these Terms.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or fit for a particular purpose.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
- We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI‑generated content for your situation.
- We are not responsible for issues arising from the use of third‑party services (Apple, Anthropic).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those cases the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

We may update, modify, or discontinue the App or its features from time to time. We may restrict or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

## 11. Apple‑specific terms
When you obtain the App through the App Store:

- Maintenance and support of the App are our responsibility; Apple has no obligation to provide them.
- In the event the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any third‑party claims relating to the App (including product liability, consumer‑protection, and intellectual‑property infringement claims).
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third‑party beneficiaries of these Terms and have the right to enforce them against you.
- You agree to comply with any applicable third‑party terms when using the App (e.g., your carrier's data‑plan terms).
- You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as "terrorist‑supporting," and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
