My Chemical Romance

My Chemical Romance (sometimes called MCR or My Chem) is an emo rock band from Newark, New Jersey. The band started in 2001, and Gerard Way was the one to start the band. He started the band 9/12/2001 after writing a song (Skylines and Turnstiles) after witnessing the 9/11 attacks. They have made 5 albums all together. They broke apart on March 22nd, 2013 but are getting back together for a 2022-2023 reunion tour.
