1. Introduction

MyCash Ipon is a personal financial-wellness app for users in the Philippines. It helps you set saving goals, take a financial health self-assessment, plan a budget, learn money tips, and play simple money-smart mini-games — with a friendly frog mascot.

MyCash Ipon is an information and self-management tool only. It does not provide loans, process payments, broker any financial product, or move money. There is no account or login — you can use every feature without registering.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and your choices. It is written to comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and Apple App Store requirements.

2. Information We Collect

a) Information you enter (stored only on your device) The App stores the data you create locally on your iPhone using an on-device database. This may include:

• Saving goals (name, category, target amount, target date, progress, streaks)

• Saving entries you record

• Budget plans (monthly income and category allocations you enter)

• Financial health assessment answers and resulting scores/history

• Mini-game scores, quiz stars, and achievements

• Tips you save

• Photos you choose to attach to a saving goal

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials, because the App has no sign-up or login.

b) Camera content If you choose to add a photo to a saving goal, the App opens the camera and saves the photo locally on your device. Photos are not uploaded to us or any third party.

c) Advertising identifier (IDFA) With your permission (via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt), the App may access your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) for advertising attribution and measurement. If you decline, the App continues to work normally and the identifier is not used.

d) Information handled automatically

• The in-app Privacy Policy screen loads a web page, which involves a standard network request to the hosting server.

• The App does not run server-side accounts and does not upload your financial data.

3. How We Use Information

4. Permissions

The App requests the following iOS permissions only when the related feature is used, and explains each with a system prompt:

The App does not request access to your contacts, photo library, microphone, or location.

5. Data Storage and Security

• All data you create is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. It is not uploaded to our servers (we operate no user-data servers for the App).

• Your data is protected by the iOS app sandbox and your device's security (passcode/Face ID/Touch ID at the OS level).

• Because data is local, removing the App or clearing its data deletes that information from your device.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

• We do not sell your personal information.

• We do not share your locally stored financial data with third parties.

• If you allow tracking, the advertising identifier may be shared with advertising/measurement partners solely for attribution. This only occurs with your consent.

• We may disclose information if required by applicable Philippine law or valid legal process.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act you have rights to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Because your data is stored on your device, you are in direct control:

• Delete your data: Settings → Data → Clear All Data (this permanently removes all goals, scores, budgets, games data, saved tips, and goal photos from the device). Deleting the App also removes all local data.

• Tracking choice: Change tracking permission anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The App itself does not use cookies. It may use the device advertising identifier (IDFA) only with your App Tracking Transparency consent, as described in Section 2(c). The in-app Privacy Policy web page may use standard web technologies controlled by the hosting site.

9. Children's Privacy

MyCash Ipon is intended for users 18 years and older and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will help remove it. The App collects no personal identifiers in any case.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be reflected in the in-app Privacy Policy page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
