When you for instance make a bevel, or a loop cut, you will first have the almost hidden tool panel at the left corner of the viewport to set divisions or bevel controls, but there are also controls popping up on the top bar of the viewports, and there is also controls in the tool menu of the numeric panel, and there is also the same controls in active tools and workspace settings ( wrench and screwdriver icon)

Until I restarted the computer, the problem kept occurring in my Android Studio. After reboot, it was working just fine. Also note that I did not execute any --switch commands as others are doing. I hope this helps.

I am sharing this here because I could not find the answer online. Avid support helped me out. For some reason, HEAT stopped working on my Pro Tools. So, when I opened sessions where I previously used HEAT, I kept getting this message:

HEAT Is Not Active. This session was last saved with the HEAT option active and thus may sound different on the current system. HEAT settings will not be lost when this session is next opened on a Pro Tools system which has HEAT available, but will be inactive.

One if the big pushes behind the 2.80 project was getting the attention of more people in the game, film, and visualization industries, and if the first tools these new users touch seem foreign and buggy, they are unlikely to move further. So as a user of most of the DCC software in the industry for more than 20 years (mostly 3d Studio and 3ds Max) please hear me out on this.

Well you can execute both by adding a select box/circle/lasso tweak to the move scale or rotate. You can have drag do a move like normal and shift drag do select without changing tools. Like I said before it works however you want

When I make an edit, lift or extraction, the tool I was working with (the Red arroow) gets replaced with the generic mouse pointer. I then need to reactivate the tool I was working with to move the clips around the timeline after every edit.

Go to timeline settings and then the Edit Tab. There are two settings to play with. 1) Clicking on TC track... 2) Only One Segment Tool... I have unclicked the first and clicked the second and now the Red Arrow remains active after an edit so I can then move the clip. Hope this helps.

Installing RSAT is similar to installing Adminpak.msi in Windows 2000-based or Windows XP-based client computers. However, there's one major difference: in Windows 7, the tools aren't automatically available after you download and install RSAT. Enable the tools that you want to use by using Control Panel. To enable the tools, click Start, click Control Panel, click Programs and Features, and then click Turn Windows features on or off.

If you have to install management tools in Windows Server 2012 R2 for specific roles or features that are running on remote servers, you don't have to install additional software. Start the Add Roles and Features Wizard in Windows Server 2012 R2 and later versions. Then, on the Select Features page, expand Remote Server Administration Tools, and then select the tools that you want to install. Complete the wizard to install your management tools.

To enable the tools, click Start, click Settings, click Apps, and then click Optional features, after that click on the panel Add a feature and enter Remote in the search bar.

Think of reading as an important part of pre-studying, but learning information requires actively engaging in the material (Edwards, 2014). Active engagement is the process of constructing meaning from text that involves making connections to lectures, forming examples, and regulating your own learning (Davis, 2007). Active studying does not mean highlighting or underlining text, re-reading, or rote memorization. Though these activities may help to keep you engaged in the task, they are not considered active studying techniques and are weakly related to improved learning (Mackenzie, 1994).

Organization and planning will help you to actively study for your courses. When studying for a test, organize your materials first and then begin your active reviewing by topic (Newport, 2007). Often professors provide subtopics on the syllabi. Use them as a guide to help organize your materials. For example, gather all of the materials for one topic (e.g., PowerPoint notes, text book notes, articles, homework, etc.) and put them together in a pile. Label each pile with the topic and study by topics.

For example, you may do a few problems per day in math rather than all of them the hour before class. In history, you can spend 15-20 minutes each day actively studying your class notes. Thus, your studying time may still be the same length, but rather than only preparing for one class, you will be preparing for all of your classes in short stretches. This will help focus, stay on top of your work, and retain information.

In fact, one of the most impactful study strategies is distributing studying over multiple sessions (Newport, 2007). Intensive study sessions can last 30 or 45-minute sessions and include active studying strategies. For example, self-testing is an active study strategy that improves the intensity of studying and efficiency of learning. However, planning to spend hours on end self-testing is likely to cause you to become distracted and lose your attention.

Use our Verify tool to see if a business you want to work with has an active contractor registration; an active and paid-to-date workers' comp account covering any employees. At the same time, you can check for safety violations, other information, lawsuits against their surety bond and more.

Use our Verify tool to see if a business you want to contract with has an active contractor registration; an active and paid-to-date workers' comp account covering any employees. At the same time, you can check for safety violations, other information, lawsuits against their surety bond and more.

If you are a contractor hiring a subcontractor, be sure to complete a tracking request for those with active coverage. If the subcontractor fails to pay workers' comp premiums or renew their contractor registration, or if their electrical contractor license or plumbing contractor license is suspended or revoked within one year of the request, L&I will send you a notification letter.

To manage your Active Directory from an Amazon EC2 Windows Server instance, you need to install the Active Directory Domain Services and Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services Tools on the instance. Use the following procedure to install these tools on an EC2 Windows Server instance.

You can optionally choose to install the Active Directory Administration Tools using Windows PowerShell.
