The kitchen, one of the most appreciated and highly regarded rooms in the house. Food is stored and prepared here. To breeze through these processes, one has to have the best kitchen equipment. Undoubtedly, the induction cooktop should suffice for this purpose.
The induction cooktop uses magnetic induction to transfer heat. The magnetic field directly heats the cooking vessel and has a grand heat capacity. Depending on the heating level selected, when put on, it gets to work in less than a minute. You just need to plug it in and it’s set.
Let's go over everything you need to know about this electronic device so you can make an informed decision before purchasing it.
Advantages that come with this device
This kitchen device is one of the most energy-efficient devices that you would definitely want to consider having in the kitchen. Unless one intends to be careless, very little heat is wasted while cooking. Compared to the standard cooking method, you save more than 60% energy.
Are you rushing out somewhere and worried that your food, while still cooking, might get scorched when you return? Or you just want to catnap while the food is cooking? Easy! The timing function that comes with this device helps drive your food to that well-cooked stage.
It has a lock touch icon to prevent kids or anyone from accidentally turning on the cocktop and getting their fingers burnt unknowingly. In other words, safety is highly incorporated into this device. Spills on the cooktop plate won’t get burnt, therefore, making cleaning easier.
It doesn’t emit any sound at all while it’s on. it simply gets the work done effectively, efficiently, faster, and noiselessly.
One good thing I also have to mention is that, when put off after cooking, the letter “H” appears to beep constantly for a few seconds or a minute indicating that one should keep off. The “H” disappears when the hob is cooling down.
Additionally, you can select a low heating level to thaw your food if it's frozen. It has a heating range from 0-9.
Features to be wary of while using this device
In my experience, it is important to avoid spilling water on the touch icons. When this happens, it starts to make a beeping sound. But not to worry, by cleaning it off immediately and drying it, this beeping sound will eventually stop.
Also slipping a hot pot through the touch icon could put it off and one might or could also risk damaging the touch icon. So prevention is always better.
Conclusion
I have been using this device for more than 4 months and I believe it was worth the purchase.
Unless one intentionally decides to be careless or play with this electronic device in the wrong way, the induction cooktop is slick and worthy of possession.
