My Scripture Library respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the My Scripture Library application handles information on Android and iOS devices.
My Scripture Library does not collect or transmit personal information to us.
The app is designed to operate primarily on your Android device. Scripture translations and other content that you enter or import into the app are stored locally on your device.
The app does not require you to create an account or provide personal information in order to use its core features.
My Scripture Library may store information locally on your device, including:
Scripture translations or text that you enter or import.
Bookmarks, favorites, and other app preferences.
Search and comparison information needed for app functionality.
User-created or imported Scripture content.
Backup files created by the user.
This information remains under your control and is stored on your device unless you choose to export, share, back up, or otherwise transfer it.
My Scripture Library provides features that allow you to share Scripture text, Scripture cards, and exported files.
When you use these features, the information is passed to the operating system's sharing mechanism or another application that you select. My Scripture Library does not independently receive or store the information shared through these features.
The app may also provide backup and restore functionality using files selected by the user.
My Scripture Library does not provide copyrighted Bible translations as part of the application unless the content is otherwise legally permitted.
Users are responsible for ensuring that any Scripture text or translation they enter, import, back up, or share is content they have the legal right to use.
My Scripture Library is designed to support offline use. The app does not require an internet connection for its core Scripture-library functionality.
My Scripture Library does not sell personal information to third parties.
The app does not use personal information for advertising purposes.
Any Android system functionality used for file selection or sharing is provided by the Android operating system.
Because user Scripture content and preferences are primarily stored locally on the user's device, the security of that information is also dependent on the security of the device itself.
Users should use the security features provided by their Android device, such as a screen lock, to help protect locally stored information.
App Privacy
My Scripture Library does not use third-party advertising or analytics services to collect personal information. The app's Scripture library, notes, favorites, preferences, and user-added content are stored locally on the user's device. The app does not require an account or transmit this information to My Scripture Library servers.
My Scripture Library does not maintain a separate server containing users' personal information.
Information stored locally by the app remains on the device until the user removes it, deletes the app's data, uninstalls the application, or otherwise removes the associated files.
Users may also delete exported or backup files using the normal file-management features of their device.
My Scripture Library does not collect personal information from children or adults.
Because the application does not require users to create an account or submit personal information, its core functionality does not require the collection of personal information from children.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality or data practices of My Scripture Library change. Any updated policy will include a revised effective date.
