My Notes (“the App”) is a note-taking, reading and productivity application developed to help users create, organize, read and manage notes, documents, reminders and related content.
This Privacy Policy explains what information My Notes may access, collect, use or share when you use the App.
If you choose to sign in using Google Sign-In, the App may receive basic account information provided by Google, such as:
Your name
Email address
Profile information or profile picture, where provided
Firebase authentication identifiers
This information is used to authenticate your account and provide account-related and synchronization features.
Google Sign-In is optional unless a feature specifically requires an account.
My Notes allows users to create and manage notes and other content.
Depending on the features you use, your content may be:
Stored locally on your device
Stored using app storage
Synced using Firebase or other cloud functionality when cloud synchronization is enabled
We do not claim ownership of the notes, documents, images or other content that you create in the App.
My Notes uses Google Firebase services for features that may include:
Authentication
Account management
Cloud synchronization
Application configuration
Other backend functionality required by the App
Firebase may process technical information necessary to provide these services.
Firebase services are provided by Google and are subject to Google's applicable privacy policies.
My Notes uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
AdMob and its advertising partners may process information such as:
Advertising identifiers
Device information
IP address
Approximate location derived from network information
Ad impressions
Ad interactions
Diagnostic information
App usage information related to advertising
This information may be used to deliver, measure, prevent fraud in and improve advertisements.
Advertising may be personalized or non-personalized depending on the user's region, consent choices and applicable Google settings.
My Notes does not sell users' personal information.
The App may request access to the camera or microphone when you choose to use a feature that requires them.
These permissions are requested only for relevant app functionality.
You can deny or revoke these permissions at any time through your Android device settings.
Content that you intentionally create, capture or attach using these features may be stored as part of your app content.
My Notes may request notification and alarm-related permissions so that it can provide features such as:
Reminders
Scheduled notifications
Alarm notifications
Important reminder alerts
Reminder schedules and related information may be stored on your device or processed as necessary to provide the requested functionality.
The App may use full-screen notification functionality for applicable reminder/alarm features where permitted by Android and the user.
If you use the App Lock feature, security information required to operate the lock may be stored securely on your device.
We do not intentionally use your app-lock credentials for advertising purposes.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their device and account.
The App and integrated service providers may process technical information such as:
Device type
Android version
App version
Device or advertising identifiers
Network information
Diagnostic information
Crash or performance information where applicable
This information may be used for security, reliability, advertising, troubleshooting and improving app functionality.
My Notes uses third-party services that may process information according to their own privacy policies.
These services may include:
Google Firebase
Google Sign-In
Google AdMob
Google Play Services

Information processed through My Notes may be used to:

We do not intentionally sell personal user information.
Information may be processed or shared with service providers only where necessary to provide app functionality.
These providers may include Google services such as Firebase, Google Sign-In and AdMob.
Information may also be disclosed when required by law, regulation, legal process or to protect users, the App or others from fraud, abuse or security threats.
Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to protect information handled through the App.
Data transmitted to supported online services is expected to use secure network connections such as HTTPS/TLS where applicable.
However, no electronic storage or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Locally stored app data generally remains on the user's device until the user deletes it, clears the App's data or uninstalls the App.
Cloud-associated information may be retained while the user's account remains active or while it is reasonably necessary to provide requested services.
Information may also be retained when reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations or dispute resolution.
When a valid deletion request is completed, associated personal data under our control will be deleted unless retention is required for legitimate legal or security reasons.
Users may request deletion of their My Notes account and associated data.

Please send the request from the email address associated with your account and write:
“My Notes Account Deletion Request”
in the subject.
We may need to verify the request before deleting account-associated information.
Users can also delete locally stored notes and content through the App's available deletion controls.
Users can control many permissions through Android Settings, including:
Camera
Microphone
Notifications
Alarm-related permissions
Users can also choose whether to sign in using Google and whether to use optional features that require specific permissions.
My Notes is a general productivity application and is not specifically designed to knowingly collect personal information from young children.
If the App is made available to children or targeted to child age groups in Google Play, additional Google Play Families requirements and applicable child-privacy laws may apply.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when features, services, legal requirements or data practices change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date.
