Do Min-joon (Kim Soo-hyun) is an alien who landed on Earth in 1609 during the Joseon Dynasty. He saves a girl named Seo Yi-hwa from falling off a cliff and misses his return trip to his home planet and is stranded on Earth for the next four centuries. He has a near-perfect human appearance, enhanced physical abilities involving his vision, hearing and speed, and a cynical, jaded view of human beings. Min-joon never ages and is forced to take on a new identity every ten years; he has worked as a doctor, an astronomer, a lawyer, and a banker, and is now working as a college professor.

With only three months left before Min-joon's long-awaited departure to his planet of origin, Song-yi suddenly becomes his next-door neighbor in the condominium where he lives. Slowly, Min-joon finds himself entangled in Song-yi's crazy and unpredictable situations, saving her multiple times using his special powers and eventually acting as her manager due to his vast legal knowledge. He finds out that she at a young age resembles Yi-hwa, with whom he fell in love with 400 years earlier. Min-joon and Song-yi eventually fall in love; Min-joon aims to leave Earth without being emotionally attached so he tries to avoid her but fails. While Song-yi initially does not understand his impending departure, she ultimately accepts letting him go to assure his survival.

My Love from the Star was originally broadcast on Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 pm Korea Standard Time (KST);[51] it was the most-watched television program of its time slot from December 18, 2013.[52] Episode 14, which was supposed to air on January 30, 2014, was delayed and Secretly, Greatly starring Kim Soo-hyun was broadcast instead.[53] A 70-minute special episode titled My Love from the Star: the Beginning was aired on February 7, 2014, at 11:20 pm KST; it recapped episodes 1 to 15, focusing on the love story of Do Min-joon and Cheon Song-yi.[54] The program was aired 30 minutes ahead of its original time on February 12 due to coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics but it still ranked as the most-watched program.[55]

In April 2014, Indonesian television network RCTI aired a series titled Kau Yang Berasal Dari Bintang [id],[f] which was first thought to be an authorised remake of My Love from the Star but was then found to have been plagiarized.[128] The Indonesian series has exactly the same set up and storyline as the Korean drama.[129] A representative of SBS Contents Hub stated: "The drama was created without the obtainment of legal publication rights. You could view it as plagiarism ... While we were in the process of discussing the sale of legal publication rights with another Indonesian enterprise, this drama came out. We are in the midst of finding what course of action to take."[130] Broadcast of the series was discontinued but after an agreement between RCTI and SBS, it began airing again in June 2014.[131]

When the band arrived at a seaside retreat in the south of France with Godrich and Kenny Beats, who had helmed the Grammy-nominated Crawler, Talbot had written only three verses to the songs that would become TANGK on purpose. He knew what he wanted, after all: songs that would allow him to step to the microphone and deliver his gospel as he felt it in that moment, with the same intensity heroes Otis Redding or Lee Moses once deployed and the same gusto the band has on stage. He had plenty to power him, after all, from the stark state of the pandemic world and the death of his firstborn to his overwhelming love for his daughter and a joyous new romance. Talbot wanted to believe every word in that moment, to supply TANGK with the confidence of his real convictions.

But then when he went, interestingly enough, in his early 20s to Russia with his wonderful lover, Lou Andreas-Salom, who was from St. Petersburg, he encountered Russian spirituality, which is very close to the earth. And that opened up to him a quality of spiritual experience that was very earth-related and vast and timeless.

A number of young ladies have fallen ill and all seem to be wearing peculiar looking metallic watches. An all male group of space vampires from the planet Spehlia (like Spee-lia) are on Earth seeking the blood of young girls. They use these watches as a means of draining the blood from their victims in a bid to save their race after some unspecified space war. After a small boy puts on his sisters watch, the blood encapsulated within turns out to be of even better interest to the aliens. Turning their attention towards children, the otherworldly bloodsuckers devise methods to entice kids into their grasp.

I can't quite put my finger on it so I'm asking everyone here if they know what I mean, I love the game, I love spaced out, I love rocket building, hell I even love going to other planets but the idea of making the solar system my "home base" just feels... weird

This is what I remember. A man encounters a bright light and is basically kidnapped by a God-like being (GLB). The being wants him to carry out a mission on another planet, I don't remember what it is but the inhabitants wouldn't be happy about it. The man accepts the mission and he's transported to a completely alien planet where physics work differently than Earth, with crazy angles and colors he's never seen before.

The God-like being comes for him and tells him to get on with it and he says no and GLB says fine he'll take him back to Earth. He refuses and says he wants to stay with the woman. GLB says he can't he'll go mad on the planet. The man insists he wants to stay with her. GLB asks the woman if she loves him too and she says yes. So GLB takes them both to some kind of neutral area and removes the veil from the man's mind and what he thought was a woman is actually a serpent-like creature with one eye. GLB asks the man if he still wants to stay and he doubles down that he's in love with her and wants to be with her....and I don't remember what happens next.

Dixon, who is dying of thirst and hardship in the desert, sees ahead of him a huge glowing semiovate object, toward which he is physically drawn. Inside the light-object, he learns telepathically that he has been selected for a task by the godlike being who constitutes the glowing object. On another planet, far away, there is a rival god-being, whom the glowing light-being wishes to supplant. For this it needs Dixon, who can penetrate to the other god and discover its weakness. Since the alternative is death, Dixon agrees to do as the light-being wishes.

The best way to show the world some love, is to learn about it. Why not try spending more time out in nature with your family? Visit some local green spaces, or even have a go at birdwatching from your window! All that matters is that you take the time to appreciate the nature you see. There are loads of apps that can help you do this: try AllTrails to find walks near you, or iNaturalist to help you identify wildlife!

One of the very best ways to show the planet some love, is to balance out all the things we take from it, by remembering to give something back. Fortunately, there are lots of easy ways to do this. You can check them all out in our sustainable living primary resource!

Our entire solar system is one family, revolving around Father Sun in a joyful and harmonious dance. First there is Mercury, metallic and cratered, closest to the sun. Next is Venus with her intense heat, high-pressure atmosphere, and volcanoes. Then there is you, beloved Mother Earth, the most beautiful of all. Beyond us orbits the Red Planet, cold and desolate Mars; and after the asteroid belt there comes the gas giant Jupiter, by far the largest planet of all, attended by an assembly of diverse moons. Beyond Jupiter orbits Saturn, the spectacularly ringed planet, followed by Uranus, tilted on his side after a collision, and, finally, distant blue Neptune with his turbulent storms and high winds.

Dear Father, you are an integral part of the whole cosmos and our solar system. If you were to disappear, then our life, as well as that of Mother Earth, would also end. I aspire to look deeply to see you, Father Sun, as my heart, and to see the interrelationship, the interbeing nature between Father Sun, Mother Earth, myself, and all beings. I aspire to practice to love Mother Earth, Father Sun, and for human beings to love one another with the radiant insight of nonduality and interbeing in order to help us transcend all kinds of discrimination, fear, jealousy, resentment, hatred, and despair.

Love of family often motivates climate activism. Moms Clean Air Force, Climate Dads, and the many grandparent climate action groups are obvious examples. A love of the outdoors is another strong driver:

Faith has always enjoyed movies and TV shows from swoon-worthy period dramas to heart-stopping action-adventure flicks. Her love of Korean dramas started a few years ago when she binge-watched a 62 episode period K-drama and fell in love. She also has a passion for writing stories. Even as a young teenager she entertained her sisters

with episodic superhero adventures. Now she spends her time working,

blogging, sewing, juggling several novels, and watching her favorite

shows, mainly K-dramas. You can visit her blog at:

Earth spins around a tilted axis, or an imaginary line that runs through the planet from the South Pole to the North Pole. If the planet were angled any differently, or if Earth were even just a little closer to or farther from the sun, temperatures would shift drastically. And that would make life here impossible. 006ab0faaa
