Picked up my new 2021 Tucson in Australia 3 days ago and have had the same problem. This occurs with the standard apple maps and google maps. I contacted the salesman who sold me the car and was unaware of this issue. I sent him a couple of videos of it and he spoke to the service manager that verified that this is a known problem and has been escalated through Hyundai to apple.
Does anyone still have the link the to the USB apple carplay software? I've gone to dealerships, called bluelink, hyundai support, and MapnSoft to try and figure this out but now they're telling me i'm unable to add it onto my 2016 sonata and I should get a newer vehicle. Can anybody help?
