My Garden Journal ("the App") is a personal gardening tracker designed to be fully private and self-contained. This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: we collect nothing. Everything stays on your device.

My Garden Journal does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. Specifically, the App does not collect:

Any garden data, seed entries, expenses, or notes you enter

HOW YOUR DATA IS STORED
All data you enter into My Garden Journal — including seed entries, milestone dates, expenses, inventory, notes, and frost dates — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage.
This data:
Never leaves your device
Is never transmitted over the internet
Is never shared with third parties
Is never accessible to the developer or anyone else
If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device.
NO INTERNET CONNECTION REQUIRED
My Garden Journal is designed to work completely offline. The App does not require an internet connection to function and does not make any network requests during normal use.
NO ACCOUNTS REQUIRED
My Garden Journal does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App. You can begin using the App immediately after installation with no sign-up or registration of any kind.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
My Garden Journal does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. No third-party SDKs that collect user data are included in the App.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
My Garden Journal does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no personal information is collected or transmitted, the App is safe for use by all ages.
DATA SECURITY
Since all data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted, the security of your garden data is governed by the security of your own device. We recommend using your device's built-in security features such as a PIN, password, or biometric lock to protect your data.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Since the App collects no user data, any changes would only reflect updates to the App's features or functionality, not changes to data collection practices.
