John was inspired by the principles behind fine classic tube-based processors, such as Pultec and Teletronic. Since then, and throughout the intervening years, John has created a wide range of TUBE-TECH units, now considered classics in their own right.

I emailed customer service about a month ago about getting a choke tube. I decided to get the turkey choke and it did amazing. I was able to harvest a beautiful bird with it. I appreciate your great customer service and the great products that you have.

This was so much fun! Staff is friendly & helpful. I went by myself. I took a small cooler, beach towel & a paddle. Rented a tube & bucket float. The paddle helped me stay in the middle of the river. Towel was to protect bare skin from black tube, but I didn't need it. Cooler fit great in the bucket. Saw some of the mustangs. I planned for 3 hrs, but it only took 2.

This rental place was amazing! The tubes are easy to carry to the bus and the ride to the water is quick and easy. They provide tubs for your cooler that has a bucket inside of it to protect your items. The float was sooo easy and gorgeous.

I haven't been tubing in about 2 decades, and they've made some pretty good changes. It's still free parking, and if you need to rent a tube, they will move the tubes for you at the actual entrance of the river. This was a cool change, so you're not lugging your tube on and off the bus.We also went during their mardi gras day, and they handed out some colored bandanas. Nice touch!Overall, everyone was really nice, and I'm glad they kept the river clean as well as had security and police on patrol, which was nice to see.Their bus system was definitely improved as it wasn't crowded at all being shuttled to and from the river points.

Significantly better process this year! You get your tubes at the river, so you no longer have to lug them onto the bus with you. There are also new buses. The wait time each trip was less than 10 minutes! Last year we waited over an hour to get back. Prices have gone up, now at $25 each, but I think it's well worth it given the improvements.

Step 1. Finding the Product Code of your Tubolito:

The product code is a 9 digit code next to the Tubolito logo on your tube.

Neural tube defects are birth defects of the brain, spine, or spinal cord. They happen in the first month of pregnancy, often before a woman even knows that she is pregnant. The two most common neural tube defects are spina bifida and anencephaly. In spina bifida, the fetal spinal column doesn't close completely. There is usually nerve damage that causes at least some paralysis of the legs. In anencephaly, most of the brain and skull do not develop. Babies with anencephaly are usually either stillborn or die shortly after birth. Another type of defect, Chiari malformation, causes the brain tissue to extend into the spinal canal.

Neural tube defects are usually diagnosed before the infant is born, through lab or imaging tests. There is no cure for neural tube defects. The nerve damage and loss of function that are present at birth are usually permanent. However, a variety of treatments can sometimes prevent further damage and help with complications.

"My husband and I are local but had never tubed this stretch of the river. It was so nice!! It took about 3 1/2 hours from start to finish. It cost $32 total- we brought our own tubes and cooler and rented a cooler tube. It was relaxing and beautiful. Would highly recommend. Pack snacks and drinks!!!"

"What a great way to disconnect and hang with some friends! Took an earlier trip 11:15 to avoid the mass crowds. It worked- Parking was easy, did not wait on any lines and had plenty of space on the river. $10 for the cooler tube was way worth it."

If you can't eat or drink by mouth, tube feeding and intravenous (IV) nutrition can help your body get the nutrition it needs during and after cancer treatment. Tube feeding and IV nutrition can help you maintain or gain weight and keep your body strong by preventing your muscles from breaking down.

Tube feeding is a way of getting nutrition directly into your stomach or small intestine. Some people with feeding tubes continue to eat food and drink liquids by mouth. You may also receive medicines through the feeding tube.

Tube feeding is preferred over IV nutrition because it uses the gastrointestinal (GI) tract and is less likely to lead to infection. You can only be fed through a tube into your stomach or small intestine if your GI tract is working well.

Nasogastric, nasoduodenal and nasojejunal feeding tubes are long, thin, flexible tubes that are inserted into a nostril. They go down the throat and into the stomach (nasogastric), into the first part of the small intestine (nasoduodenal) or into the second part of the small intestine (nasojejunal). You won't need surgery to put these feeding tubes in place. Once a nasogastric, nasoduodenal or nasojejunal tube is in the correct position, it is taped to your nose or cheek to keep it in place. Placement of the tube will be checked with an x-ray before the first feeding is given. Nasogastric, nasoduodenal and nasojejunal feeding tubes are usually used if you need nutrition support for less than 4 to 6 weeks

Percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) and percutaneous endoscopic jejunostomy (PEJ) tubes are passed through the skin directly into your stomach (PEG) or into the small intestine (PEJ). They do not go through the nose. You will need surgery to make an opening (stoma) through the abdomen wall where the feeding tube enters the body. The feeding tube is held in place with either a stitch or a small inflated balloon around the tube just under the skin. An endoscope is inserted through the mouth, down the throat and into the stomach or small intestine to help guide the tube in place.

PEG and PEJ tubes are usually put in place when you're having another planned surgery. They may also be placed before treatment if you are unlikely to get the nutrition and fluids you need (for example, when you have a head and neck cancer).

Intermittent tube feedings are given over short periods several times throughout the day, often at regular meal times. This feeding schedule is usually used for tubes that feed into the stomach. It can also be called bolus tube feeding.

Cyclic tube feeding is an alternative to continuous tube feeding. It is given at a faster rate over a shorter period of time. It's given at the same time each day for the same amount of time. Cyclic feeding may also be called nocturnal feeding when the tube feeding is done overnight (for example, for 8 to 12 hours at night while you are resting or sleeping). This feeding schedule is usually used for tubes that feed into the small intestine.

The feeding tube and the skin around it need special care. A nurse will show you how to manage this before leaving the hospital. They will show you how to do the feeding and flush the tube with water. The skin around the tube will need to be cleaned.
